What is lululemon Like New?

Lululemon Like New is our resale program. Aligned with our circular innovation goals, the initiative is designed to extend the life of our products, providing guests with more opportunity to keep high-quality items in circulation.

What is Redress?

Redress is an Asia-focused environmental NGO headquartered in Hong Kong, with a mission to accelerate the change to a circular fashion industry, by educating and empowering designers and consumers so as to reduce clothing’s negative environmental impacts.

What is sold through lululemon Like New?

Items available include women’s and men's tops, outerwear, shorts, skirts, dresses, bottoms, and bags.

All items are authenticated, professionally cleaned and quality-checked to meet our resale standards.

How do the condition ratings work?

Like New items are fully inspected for quality to ensure it meets our highest performance standards. Any items that don't perform to our standards or have excess signs of wear won't pass our quality test or be sold at our pop-up. If an item has minor signs of wear, we'll let you know.

We sort clothes into two categories: good as new and gently used. Items are priced according to their rating.

How are products cleaned?

Our partner, Redress, professionally cleans Like New products to restore fit, performance and color. 

Any tips for loving my lululemon Like New item longer?

Wash in cold water, lay flat to dry, and avoid fabric softener to extend the life of your gear and reduce energy use. We also recommend washing items inside out and avoiding washing with towels or hoodies.

Can I return purchases from Like New items?

To support mindful shopping habits, we do not accept returns or exchanges for Like New items. Our educators are here to help you find the right fit. 

Collection & vouchers

Can I trade-in any lululemon item?

As long as your item meets our hygiene requirements, you can drop off your lululemon garments regardless of whether the original care tag, size tag, or price tag are intact. We also welcome drop offs of non-lululemon items.
 

Where do the clothes go? Especially the ones not from lululemon?

This initiative is designed to extend product use. Through our partnership with Redress, we inspect, sort, clean, and resell eligible lululemon items via our Like New Pop-up Store. For items with minor defects, we work with a local repair vendor to restore them to wearable condition. Those that do not meet our resale standards but still maintain performance integrity are donated to our partner Crossroads. Products from other brands are entrusted to Redress, who will prioritize reuse and ensure minimal landfill waste. They sort and redistribute items for resale, donation to charity partners, and downcycling.
 

Do I get anything in return for drop off?

For each drop-off of pre-loved lululemon gear, or drop-off of non-lululemon gear with complete guest profile registration and eligible social media posting*, you’ll receive a HK$100 appreciation voucher, redeemable at most retail stores across Hong Kong.**

The voucher will not be applicable for online purchases.

*Eligible social media posting refers to a successfully published post or story indicating lululemon Like New in texts and shown in photos or video with @lululemonhk tagged and followed (for Instagram and Facebook only).

**Excludes Hong Kong International Airport Store and Citygate Outlets Store locations.

Where can I drop off my clothes?

You can drop it off in at any of these stores: Queen's Road Central, Pacific Place, Cityplaza, Harbour City, and ELEMENTS.

What should I do if I accidentally drop off the wrong item?

Regrettably, we are unable to assist with returning these items, including those left in pockets.

Is there an expiration date on the vouchers?

The vouchers will be valid for one month from the date of issue.

What are the terms and conditions for the vouchers?
 

1. The appreciation voucher can only be redeemed by guests who have a guest profile with lululemon.
2. The voucher can only be redeemed with a minimum purchase of HK$1,000 full price items, not applicable to markdown items, lululemon Gift Cards or in conjunction with any other promotions, offers or discounts.
3. Only one voucher can be used with each transaction.
4. The voucher can only be redeemed at lululemon stores in Hong Kong, excluding Citygate Outlets Store and Hong Kong International Airport Store, and cannot be used for online purchases.
5. The voucher will be valid for one month from the date of issue.
6. The voucher is valid for one transaction only and will not be applied to subsequent transactions in case of returns or exchanges of purchases made with the gift voucher.
7. If multiple items are purchased with this voucher, the value of the voucher will be applied proportionately to all items.  For all returns and exchanges made with the voucher, the value of this voucher will not be refunded but only the portion paid by guests will be refunded accordingly.
8. The voucher cannot be replaced or redeemed for cash.  The total value of the voucher will be deducted in full when used and any unused balance will be forfeited.
9. The voucher must be presented and used before payment; it will not be accepted afterwards.
10. lululemon is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged or misused vouchers.
11. lululemon reserves the right to interpret the terms and conditions of the voucher, whose decision shall be final. The English version shall prevail in case of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions.
